Roland System 1 + SH2 + SH101 Plugout / Plugin + Audiodemo SH5 vs. System 1/Plugout

update: Rolands System 1 Digital Synthesizer  get SH2 addition as a „plug out“

since I never had one I am not aware if the plugs can be changed on stage, according to the official demos it is always just ONE synth – you need to reboot/reload the plugin – so it is not as easy as it appeared to be –

but will keep you posted when I have one to check this part –

the monophonic, (1979)  Roland SH2 Analog Synthesizer  isn’t free – 75€. and it is most likely the Promars / Jupiter 4 could be next, since System 100/100m and 700 are not really suitable for this layout.
but SH5/SH7 might be? huh?

but hey, you can see ALL of them in the video which IS a signal, isn’t it? – this one shows Promars, System 100 and 100m… (for now reason?)

UPDATE: you can use Plugouts AND switch it directly on the Synth to that PlugOut without Computer but you have to upload the Plugout Synth ONCE – like before you play – so if you own 2 plugout synths you need to upload the one you need and can still swtich to system 1 or that plugout – here the SH2 or SH101.

hier ist, wie es geht mit dem Plugout:

So, da weiss ich jetzt klar was los ist:
1) Plugout und System 1 kann man direkt am Gerät umschalten, dh – man hat 2 Synths dann auch unterwegs dabei.
2) Man muss sich nur für ein Plugout entscheiden, wenn man es einlädt, dh, wenn ich SH101 einlade dann hab ich den unterwegs dabei und immer das „ur“ System 1 oder eben SH2 und System 1 – auf dem Wege ohne Rechner kann ich das nicht umladen – aber beide benutzen – nicht aber alle Plugout Synths die es gibt. ohne Umladen.
3) Das Plugin am Rechner läuft unabhängig davon und hat auch eine eigene Klangerzeugung, so kann man also dieses und das System 1 total unabhängig nutzen, ist aber als Controller sehr sinnvoll weil passt. Das ist einer der ersten Synths, die letzlich einen speziellen Controller für Plugins hätten – so als Nebenprodukt für die Plugins – aber läuft natürlich unabhängig davon.
